Jastrzabpost.pl:This is how Agata Duda’s creations are made. The designer revealed unknown details. Only once a year can she afford to go crazy

First Lady Agatha Duda has once again gone chic. This time during a Santa Claus meeting with children held at the Presidential Palace on December 6. She outclassed all the style icons with her dress. She looked downright stunning!

First Lady Agata Duda has long been praised for her sense of style and timeless outfits. The fact that she wears clothes that are chic, classic and elegant is appreciated not only in Poland, but also abroad.

In 2019, Independent fashion journalist Caitlin McBride, when she wrote about the style of the world’s most important women, praised our First Lady for the creations she wore during diplomatic meetings. She particularly liked the raspberry midi dress. Agata Duda wore it at a meeting with Japan’s Prince Akishino and his wife Princess Kiko.

If we trace Agata Duda’s hairstyles, we can see at a glance that she usually opts for simple, elegant cuts, in which she looks very distinguished and feminine. It is not without reason that she is called the Polish Claire Underwood, a fictional character from House of cards.

Dorota Goldpoint on working with Agata Duda

Recently Agata Duda decided to change her image a bit and presented herself in a dress from well-known designer Dorota Goldpoint. She appeared in a black gown at a New Year’s meeting with the Presidential Corps, during which she accompanied her husband. Her styling – still timeless and elegant – was stunning, and the First Lady looked great in it.

A Hawk Post reporter contacted the designer and asked how the creation process went and what materials were used:

The dress was sewn from black sequin lace, it is a relatively new type of fabric, it does not look like lace, but it is. Part of the design is covered with sequins, arranged in the shape of medallions. Geometric elements of the fabric add a modern touch to the creation. The dress had a Spanish neckline, which subtly revealed the shoulders. Black feathers sewn in an original way decorated the neckline. The gown emphasized the waist and gently flared out towards the bottom. The 3/4 sleeves added lightness to the silhouette. The stunning effect was achieved by creating perfect hourglass proportions,” Goldpoint told us.

As the designer admitted, the New Year’s diplomatic meeting is the only opportunity to be closer to the trends. By the way, Goldpoint revealed one of Duda’s requirements – her creation was made well in advance:

The sewing of the dress was planned well in advance. We were looking for a concept that, on the one hand, would be suitable for this kind of official meeting with the diplomatic corps, and on the other hand, would allow a bit of the only craziness of the whole year. The New Year’s diplomatic meeting is the only opportunity to be closer to the trends. And as we know, this carnival was dominated by the triumphant return of sequins accompanied by feathers.

Does Agata Duda sometimes visit Dorota’s atelier?

Yes, sometimes it comes. But unfortunately I can’t say anything more.

In the gallery you will find the described creation and several others that the said designer designed for her.
